Dapper Dons & Silk Chiffons - Fisk University Fashion Show: November 17, 2011

Fashion Spectators, Media, Artists, Photographers, Bloggers, Designers, Students, Alumni, Nashville Residents Join us for a “SoFISKticated” fashion event on the campus of Fisk University. The show is scheduled for Thursday, November 17, 2011 beginning at 7:00pm. It will be a tented event in front of the Historic Cravath Hall. Arrive early to secure your spot.

The pre-reception begins at 7pm, consisting of wine and hors d’oeuvres and Divine 9 Greek Organization standing models. Opening musical performance by former Jubilee Singer and Miss Fisk 2003-2004 , Moiro Konchellah at 8pm.

General Admission: $15 Students: $10
The Official After Party will be held at Club MAI, one of the HOTTEST clubs in Nashville, from 10pm- 3am. 21 and older.

(Only Living Life In Excellence) is an after- school mentoring program that transitions youth from middle school age, high school, college , and into adulthood. The fashion came from a love of skateboarding, “Ollie” being an actual skate trick. He created the  fashion side of Ollie just to give shirts to the kids he mentored as a reward for their daily excellence. After the  first shirt was made, he couldn’t stop creating and the kids loved the designs. His motto is that O.L.L.I.E is  not just a BRAND it’s a LIFESTYLE. Yours In Fashion stylist DaNisha Greene is new to the fashion  industry however she is very excited about contributing to it while consuming all it has to offer. A 2004 Fisk  University graduate in Mass Communications, DaNisha has been passionate about fashion since high school. She currently is the Fashion Image Director for Couture Living Magazine as well as a freelance Fashion  Consultant, and Creative Director.
