Shop & Sip: January 25, 2011

I love the Belcourt Theatre. Late September, I attended the fashionable nD Festival  showcasing the latest designs from fashion heavy hitters Alabama Chanin, Billy Reid, and Imogene + Willie. It was incredible and so much fun. (Read about the event here, or event review here.)

I have seen so many wonderful films at the indie theatre, including the very fashionable Coco Before Chanel, starring the exquisite Audrey Tautou as a young Gabrielle. I about lost myself after watching Valentino: The Last Emperor shortly after moving to Nashville.

The Belcourt is dynamic and has more character than most theatres in Nashville. I have a soft spot in my heart for the Belcourt. And apparently, so does Stacey Rhodes, owner of Stacey Rhodes boutique.

Rhodes will be hosting Shop & Sip, a fashionable event where 10% of all proceeds will benefit the Belcourt Theatre. The event will be held January 25, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Stacey Rhodes Boutique in Brentwood (144 Franklin Road). Here are the details according to the Facebook invite:

The Oscar® nominations will be announced on the morning of January 25th. Join us for wine & shopping that evening at Stacey Rhodes Boutique in Brentwood (144 Franklin Road) to continue all the buzz about the nominees. 10% of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to The Belcourt. Stacey & her staff are SURE to make you red carpet ready! It’s a perfect chance to get your dress or accessories for Oscar Night ® America at The Belcourt theatre (2/27). You can also purchase something for Valentine’s or just something to make you feel beautiful to beat the winter blues! Event is FREE, but donations to The Belcourt will be accepted.
