All looks from Free People's website.
This morning I was at Green Hills Mall on a field trip with my Visual Merchandising class analyzing window displays (that’s right, I AM the coolest teacher ever!), when I made a discovery. I had a total Scooby Doo wh-wh-whaaattttt and where the heck have I been? moment, when I saw that a new retailer is opening up. Free People will be opening its doors November 18, 2010 at the Mall at Green Hills. And apparently, they are hiring, too. Store signage indicated interested parties apply at the Free People website here.
Free People is currently sold in small quantities at our local Macy’s, but the store will be sure to house all the newest and greatest collections from the retailer. Free People currently has about 40 free-standing boutiques with plans to expand operations in Tennessee, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Colorado. Free People is also the sister-company of Urban Outfitters.
If you’re not familiar with Free People, get familiar! This retailer caters to the 18-35 year-old customer, offering quality clothing and accessories with a laid-back, urban-hippie feel. A top can range from around $58 to $200, dresses from around $88 to $300, and jackets from $98 to $400. It may set you back a little, but it’s well worth it. This merchandise is trendy, comfortable, and you’ll be sure to get envious stares from passerby’s!
