Not to be confused with Fashion for a Fraction, the Owen Women’s Business Association and the Belmont Chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs are hosting Fashion for a Passion: Charity Fashion Show & Silent Auction on Friday, March 25, 2011. The event takes place from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Owen School (located on Vanderbilt’s campus between Grand Avenue and Scarritt Place at 401 21st Ave. South); student tickets are $10 and general public tickets at $15.
The night will bring you “an evening of cocktails, conversations, and clothes,” in addition to a silent auction featuring Titans tickets, designer clothing, and restaurant gift certificates. Although the designers are currently nameless, the fashion show will highlight ways to “dress outside the box, inside the office.” All proceeds will be donated to the following charities: Magdalene House, All About Women, the Christian Women's Job Corps & Women Helping Women.
