Nashville Fashion Week Update

Unfortunately I was unable to attend last night's Nashville Fashion Week Launch Party due to work commitments (boo!!), but I'm happy to hear of the recent announcements regarding the upcoming event. Here are the details:

Lexus Nashville Fashion Week Announces Details for 2012 at Launch Party

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (January 26, 2012) — At tonight’s Launch Party Lexus Nashville Fashion Week announced the week’s finale designer Randi Rahm, the participation of Tim Gunn, event venues, model casting call, and ticket sales.

Randi Rahm will show her Fall/Winter 2012 collection as the week’s finale collection on Saturday, March 24 at Lexus Nashville Fashion Week.  The runway show that evening will be at the The Pinnacle at Symphony Place, 150 3rd Avenue South downtown.  Rahm’s hand-beaded creations have graced the pages of major magazines and illuminated red carpets worldwide.  Her designs have drawn rave reviews from fashion aficionados coast to coast including Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Julianne Hough, and Halle Berry.
“I’m thrilled to be visiting Nashville, TN, as the featured designer during Nashville Fashion Week,” said Rahm.  “I look forward to presenting the Randi Rahm couture collection to Music City’s discerning fashion arena.  Having dressed both Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill, I already feel a part of this wonderful community."

Tim Gunn of Project Runway will also be a part of Lexus Nashville Fashion week.  Tim Gunn is the Chief Creative Officer of Liz Claiborne and the author of A Guide to Quality, Taste and Style.

This year’s Lexus Nashville Fashion Week events will take place in some of the city’s most historic, landmark venues.  The March 20-22 events will take place at Nashville’s latest music venue, Marathon Music Works. The final night will be in the private event space on the 22nd floor of The Pinnacle at Symphony Place
