Model Call

WHAT:    experienced runway models needed for Lexus Nashville Fashion Week, March 20-24, 2012

WHEN:    Tuesday, February 7 and Thursday, February 9, 3-7 p.m.

WHERE:  Marathon Village, 1200 Clinton Street, Suite 10

DETAILS:

Women, 16-25 years old

5'8-6', Size 0-6

Men, 16-30 years old

6'-6'2", Size 38-42L

·         Bring at least five comp cards and/or provide a link with a variety of photographs. 

·         Women should wear a fitted black t-shirt and leggings with heels, little to no makeup, and hair pulled back off the face. 

·         Men should wear a fitted t-shirt and pants.

·         All models selected for shows will be required to attend separate fittings for each designer the day of that designer's show. Fittings will take place from 8 a.m.-noon,  Tuesday, March 20-Saturday, March 24, on the day(s) of the show for which each model is booked. Models are required to be on location as early as 3 p.m. each day. Each model is responsible for her/his own travel, lodging and other expenses associated with participating in this event. All models participating in Nashville Fashion Week will be given a stipend for each day that they participate in a show, plus name recognition in the Nashville Fashion Week program.

The Art Institute of Tennessee-Nashville's Fashion Show Production Crew presents "projectRED', a fashion show that will be hosted by Fashion Students at the beginning of December!

This audition is for both males and females, age 18+, preferably with runway modeling experience! Two auditions will be held:

Pink Ribbon Couture Fashion Show Casting Call: October 8, 2011

I'm curious to know more about the Pink Ribbon Couture Fashion Show, but a casting call will be held for the event on October 8, 2011 at 1:00 PM. I had previously posted this back in April, so I wanted to remind you all about this weekends event. Here is the original post:

Glitter and Glam is back for another year of interesting fashion and an even better cause. This year’s event takes place July 17, 2011 at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel (2100 West End Ave.) from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This fashion show features doggie couture designs from Linda Higgins, complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres, a red carpet, and a first class silent and live auction. Dress is cocktail attire and all proceeds from the event benefit Agape Animal Rescue. Tickets are $60 and can be purchased here.

I received this in my inbox this morning- a message regarding a Fashion Thrifting Reality TV Show Casting Call. This is from the same talented casting director who has contacted me in the past about Project Runway shows. It's not Nashville-specific, but I know a lot of you out there are thrifting queens, so I figured I'd pass this along. Here's the message regarding the TV casting call:

Bullets & Mullets Casting Call: June 4, 2011

On Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, retailer Bullets & Mullets will be hosting a casting call for its Lookbook editorial. Both male and female models who are agency ready, and 16 to 25, are encouraged to audition. Also, selected models will be considered for future editorials and opportunities. Here’s a little more information about the casting call:

- Height: Females, 5’9”; Males, 5’11” (minimum, flat-footed)

- Women should wear tasteful, form-fitted clothing, heels, little to no makeup and hair pulled back off the face. Men should wear a fitted t-shirt and pants.

- Bring comp card and/or portfolio.

Compensation: You will receive digital and/or print tearsheets.

If selected, you will be required to come to one fitting prior to the shoot and commit to a full-day for shooting.

Casting Call: Splash Swimwear Fashion Show

The Fashion Office has been asked to produce and style a swimwear fashion show at Mad Donna's. The show "Splash: A Place In The Sun" is Saturday June 4th.  I am looking for SUPERHOT male and female models, all ethnicities.
