So, as I said in my original post about the David Yurman grand opening on May 18, 2011, I wasn't there for very long so was unable to snap some photos. However, they're already on Facebook, so check out who was there here.
On Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, retailer Bullets & Mullets will be hosting a casting call for its Lookbook editorial. Both male and female models who are agency ready, and 16 to 25, are encouraged to audition. Also, selected models will be considered for future editorials and opportunities. Here’s a little more information about the casting call:
- Height: Females, 5’9”; Males, 5’11” (minimum, flat-footed)
- Women should wear tasteful, form-fitted clothing, heels, little to no makeup and hair pulled back off the face. Men should wear a fitted t-shirt and pants.
- Bring comp card and/or portfolio.
Compensation: You will receive digital and/or print tearsheets.
If selected, you will be required to come to one fitting prior to the shoot and commit to a full-day for shooting.
The Lookbook will be shot by Ernie Passwaters (Photographer) and styled by Kerry Woodard (Fashion Stylist/Creative Director). You can view their work at the following links:

On Thursday, May 12, 2011, I attended the 13th Annual Eloise O’More College of Design Student Fashion Show with a few hundred guests. Inclement weather held off some potential patrons, but the seats at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center were just about full to view the junior’s and senior’s collections.
I arrived to the show right on time and after chatting with some local Nashville bloggers and fashionistas, grabbed my reserved seat in the front row near the right of the stage. A total of 28 student collections were shown to fashion critics such as Jayne Harkness, President to Order at Isaac Mizrahi, and Carrie Martin, Manager of Local Honey Boutique. Professional photos were taken by 4050 Photo, so check out that site for more pics. Here are the shots I took of the show:
